Allan Pease
Allan Pease

Allan was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 1952 and had a very successful career in the insurance sector there by the time he was 21, As is reasonably common it was customary for leading salesmen to speak at regular meetings discussing their achievements and methods.  This revealed another talent.  Allan was a naturally gifted public speaker. It was his success in this field which led to the first bestseller 'Body Language’ (over 4,000,000 copies)

Following the success of Body Language he then wrote three more books to complete the series ‘Talk Language’, Memory Language’ and ‘Write Language’ which made him a household name in the Southern hemisphere – his own TV series, in Australia, ‘ Body Language’ has been seen by over 100,000,000 viewers.

In 1990 he met Barbara and after nearly losing everything in 1994, decided he had another chance in life to succeed – after years of been told the funniest stories he wrote ‘Rude & Politically incorrect jokes’ and then decided that in order to get to the top he also should have a base in Europe.

In 1994 Allan & Barbara moved to Stratford upon Avon and over the next three years studied the relationships between men & women – ‘Why Men Don’t Listen & Women Can’t Read Maps’ was born and immediately climbed to the top of the charts in over 36 countries. (over 8,000,000 copies sold)

Suddenly Allan was a media star, appearing on Tv & radio shows across the world, with his wealth of knowledge and individual style & presence from ‘This Morning’ to ‘Trisha’ and Radio 2 to BBC World Service – it appeared that he had found his niche.

In 200o yet another setback, Allan was diagnosed with cancer – he did what he does best and studied  - 2 years later and cancer free Allan is an Organic Vegan and probably the healthiest he has ever been – even going as far as having a ‘best before August 2040’ tattoo!

Following the success of ‘Why Men Don’t…’ Allan & Barbara wrote the next in the series ‘Why Men Lie & Women Cry’ which was released in September 2002, again it went straight to the top of the bestseller lists.

Allan continues to work as a professional speaker and author, he has plans for many more books on varying subjects andhopes for continued health & success in what ever he does.
