We have a lot planned for 2012 starting with my own talk 'Gurus In A Nutshell' on January 25th, followed by Rupert Sheldrake, The Science Delusion, on the 26th. We are screening the movie, The Tapping Solution on 8th February - a fascinating look at the technique known as EFT. and we have a lot of excellent speakers lined up, including Caroline Myss, Dorothy Rowe, Gabor Mate, Marianne Williamson and Steve Holbrook. Gabriella Kortsch is coming to Ireland for the first time - she is the author of the excellent 'Rewiring The Soul'.

There are some excellent speakers coming to Ireland next year, including Thich Nhat Hanh, the Noble Peace Prize winning Vietnamese monk who set up Plum Village in France. We at Seminars.ie hope to be be involved in his visit, in the meantime further information can be found on the Mindfulness Ireland website. Caroline Myss will be in Belfast and Dublin in February and Marianne Williamson and Dorothy Rowe in April. Yours truly is giving a talk on Gurus In A Nutshell in January, and we will be screening the Tapping Solution movie at the beginning of the year.

OCTOBER REVIEW

Despite the straitened times we had great attendance at all these events, and the Live Stream at Tony's Dublin event was well received. It certainly lifted the gloom of the last few months, very important for us all to keep positive and focus on the good things in life, of which there are many! We had a great talk with Dr Tony Humphreys on authentic leadership and June brings several talks and workshops with Fr Richard Rohr. Philip McKernan's talk was heartfelt, authentic and inspirational and he will be back for a workshop in July. The Lorna Byrne events are filling fast, so please make sure you book early to assure your place. Marianne Williamson and Caroline Myss are also popular, they are great spiritual teachers and we feel very fortunate that they are able to come to Dublin in March. Bob Whitaker is a great 'truth-seeker', his 'Anatomy of an Epidemic' talk will be informative, shocking and riveting.

Posted: Monday February 7, 2011I completely agree with author and psychologist Dr Tony Humphreys, who challenges the dominant credo that we are victims of our genes, environment, upbringing and life experiences. He sees that each individual actively creates his own uniqueness, making the best of the cards life deals him, with great courage, intelligence and ingenuity. No matter how tight the corner, we still negotiate, however unconsciously. A lonely stance in a world infatuated with the notion of rights rather than responsibility, but Tony has stood firm. Tony will be giving his talk 'Creating A Better Society' later this year.
