Dawa Tarchin Phillips is an authentic teacher and global spiritual leader.
He possesses a wealth of wisdom, compassion, and experience, having completed two consecutive three-year meditation retreats. Appreciated by students for his joy, insight, and clarity of presentation, Dawa has taught on five continents and travelled to over 30 countries, including leading the first public pilgrimage around the globe. He embodies the unique perspectives of Western scholarship and neuroscientific research and the traditional training of an authentic Buddhist Lama.
He is the Founder/CEO of Empowerment Holdings and the co-founder of the Mindful Leadership Online Training Conference, the world’s largest online training conference for mindful leaders. He is a mindfulness and meditation expert, author, serial entrepreneur, experienced spiritual teacher, researcher and educator. He co-founded the Center for Mindfulness and Human Potential at the University of California Santa Barbara and is the President of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association, the first global independent professional organization for Mindfulness teaching professionals, and founder of The Mindful Leadership Tribe, an online community of mindful leaders.
He teaches mindfulness, meditation and awakening, awakened business and mindful leadership around the world.
